One-on-One Training Model
OOO training is an innovative training model developed by Charter Australia. OOO training is based on a training process that is customised to an individual’s learning needs. |
Each student is first thoroughly assessed by a qualified trainer and assessor to identify the student’s project management skill level. From this assessment a training plan is developed collaboratively by the student and the trainer. The initial assessment will identify any prior experience (RPL) which can be used to contribute to your final qualification assessment. That means no repeat learning and confidence that no area of your skill profile has been overlooked. |
The training plan will detail the timeline of study, methods to be used, the scope of the study and outcome to be achieved. |
| Your study will be supported by the following training resources: |
|
After creation of your training plan your assessor will take you through the final assessment process. This process requires you to compile a portfolio of work-based evidence against assessment elements in the assessment record book. |
The outcome of the OOO approach is that you are able to understand your learning plan and assessment tasks from day one of your study. |
Assessment Assessment is focussed on evaluating your actual project management skills as demonstrated by you progressively compiling a portfolio of work-based evidence of project management activities that match the assessment elements described in the Assessment Record Book. |
You must attend an assessment interview to present project evidence and discuss the application of project management competencies within the workplace. You must complete the assessment within six (6) months of your registration for the course. |
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Students who have gained appropriate levels of competence through previous studies, work and life experiences may be eligible to have their competence recognised towards the qualification. Where appropriate, recognition of previous learning will be reflected in both your personalised training plan and your final assessment. |
Qualifications which may be obtained through this method are the Certificate IV of Project Management and the Diploma of Project Management. |
